My association with being Afrikaans from a Boere-community is my inherent way to express my culture, which I am proud of. My body of art comments on farm attacks in South Africa, it explores sub themes such as depleting food security and the notion of guilty by association. I know my work will not offer solutions, but I hope it raises awareness. All violence in South Africa should be acknowledged and condemned! I dedicate this website to raising awareness for farm murders.​
